Abu Bakr al-Shatri
Abu Bakr al Shatri was born in 1970, to a family of religious scholars. He is considered one of the most important reciters and interpreters of the Qur’an today. Abu Bakr Al Shatri was born in Jeddah, studied the Quran under Cheikh Aymane Rochdi Suwaid and earned a master’s degree four years later.
Abu Bakr Al Shatri has led prayers in many Saudi mosques, including the Rajihi Mosque (Kandara), Sayid Ibn Jubair Mosque (Assalama) and Abdullatif Jamil Mosque. He is currently serving as a prayer leader at Al Furkane mosque in Hay Annassim, Jeddah. Abu Bakr Al Shatri has attended many conferences and events in Egypt, South Africa, Kuwait and Bahrain. He is now married and has four children. He is known as Abdarrahmane bin Abu Bakr Al Shatri.
